About us
We are an innovative and forward thinking flooring company who are one of a select few to be able to offer Amtico flooring for both commercial and domestic settings in Australia. We are different from our peers as not only can we design and bring your creation to life, but our installations are second to none.
Each installation is completed to the point of perfection, and will last for many years without defects. Artis have over 20 years of experience within the flooring industry, with the past decade being dedicated to luxury vinyl tile and plank installations.
Our design space
Our design space is located on Level One within Home Base design centre in Subiaco. We have a small collection of sample floors on display to demonstrate how our vinyl tiles can look and feel, along with a few different laying patterns and tile textures to provide some inspiration. As our ranges have over 200 colours and finishes and over 20 different laying patterns, we are unable to showcase them all! If you wish to view further samples or to explore more of the range, please contact us. The design centre is open 7 days a week and the opening hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 5pm
Sunday: 10am – 4pm
Please be aware that the space is currently unmanned, but a flooring expert is always available to arrange appointments at Home Base to discuss your project.
Our Heritage
Artis founder, Lee, entered into the flooring industry as a floor layer in 1997, working for a small local business which catered for both domestic and commercial flooring. In early 2008, Lee made the decision to become self-employed, and Artis Flooring was launched. He continued to offer the same services as he had done previously, but had noticed a shift in the industry. Lee was aware that new products were coming to the market and as a result, dedicated a great deal of time in gaining a range of industry-recognised qualifications.
This process enabled him to not only maintain the level of high-quality services, but also to adapt and evolve as the industry changed. In early 2017, Lee emigrated from the UK to Australia and has intentionally partnered with Amtico, who globally has long been recognised as the design, innovation and performance leader in the LVT industry. The products are already well-established and highly regarded in the UK, European and American flooring industries, so it felt natural and appropriate to introduce them to the Australian market.
